Boston soft shell crab festival

I have read that Boston has a soft shell crab festival from mid-May to mid-June at various restaurants. Our cruise will be in Boston on May 24, 2011. Does anyone know if the festival will be going on then?

Sounds like a restaurant promo to me. It's showing on Google for the Metropolitan Club, which is in Brookline (Chestnut Hill). Crabs are not particularly indigenous to New England - I would imagine that any soft shell crabs offered in Boston would actually come from the mid-Atlantic. Lobster and clams are the primary local seafood.
