We will be heading off for our cruise soon.

Just wondering if in July it will be warm enough to wear shorts in the day.

Also do people wear jeans to dinner? My jeans are nice and smart - dark denim - no rips! Would these be suitable?

Yes, it will be plenty warm enough for shorts.

I don't do dress code debates, but I don't think blue jeans are considered "Country Club Casual". :)

Somewhere on Paul Gauguin's web site , they say no jeans for evening time . Also probably too hot for jeans.

We just returned from PG cruise and found some cruisers were dressed up very elegantly while others were more casual. I did see some people in jeans for dinner but absolutely no shorts after 6pm. I would think that dark blue jeans with no rips would be all right but you might want to bring a couple of dressy outfits. Anna
