QE2 Any auctions of on board items

I wonder if the items left on board will be auctioned or sold, as on the Queen Elizabeth. I wonder if any one will care once the last passenger and crew is off. I cant see anything fitting in with a glass funnel and no lifeboats. What do you all think?

Since they were adamant that the ship was sold with all contents I can only assume they want to retain at least some of them. I think there would be such an outcry if fittings etc were then sold off at auction.

it would be nice to have a small piece of memorabilia from such a historical ocean liner.
