The pre-authorizations (which all showed up as pending) took over a week to clear on my card. The odd thing is that overall charge was one line and the pre-authrizaed where individuals lines. And I swear they appeared after we got off the cruise. Not a big deal, it was not showing up as part of my balance, but I did want to make sure they went away.

I was on the Legend the previous week. Several people posted on the FB page that they tested positive after returning. Even with the vaccine and testing requirements, there will always be some people on board to have it or pick it up at port ( or being crammed together the last day). It’s a virus and it’s not going away. Remember, there is no shame in wearing a mask if you feel it adds some protection for you.

Let’s be honest - they don’t care and they really don’t want to know. It’s not like they are going to do anything different. I suspect the staff gets tested regularly and if positive, need to bow out fir some days.

My FIL had an issue with his feat swelling. He was embarrassed to have to wear sneakers. But after being seated and seeing people in shorts, T-shirt’s, track pants ... he felt a little better. And the food tasted just as good.
