It’s been a long time since we cruises CCL. Typically do RCCL. In April we did Odyssey. It sounds like the ship is the main attraction, and you are wondering if Odyssey is a good fit. It won’t be 100%, but you will see others dressing up for dinner. If you want to lounge by the pool, and not be around a lot of families, you will have the solarium (must be 16+ to be in there), there will be fee activities, bingo, crafts, and dance lessons. There will also be a few extra $ activities like making sushi, and gym and spa are decent. Food is decent. Along with the MDR, and Windjammer, you have (already included in base fare places) - 270 which has sandwiches, salads, and small desserts, Solarium Bistro, Sorrento’s (pizza parlor usually has 3 different kinds), and Cafe Promenade, which may have a few small savory items, desserts, and will always have cookies. Unlike 270, it’s not a set menu. Cafe Promenade is open 24/7, and I believe Sorrento’s is open until 3am. I believe they have gatherings for solo travelers, if that interests you.
I will say the walking track on Odyssey is horrible compared to other RCCL ships. Very thin and lounge chairs very close to each side.
I’d say, if the price and time work, give it a shot.
