  1. Generally the areas with more movement are in the forward or aft of the ship. Also, there's typically more movement the higher the deck. We've cruised many times on the Magic (and Wonder) in deck 2 rooms. Mostly we've have mid-aft or mid-forward rooms. The motion was not bothersome to us.
  2. If I order a drink onboard and I have no drink package, the charge for the drink includes an auto gratuity for the bartender/server. If I order a drink onboard, and I do have a drink package, is the auto gratuity amount still on the drink? So the bartender/server still gets the same gratuity?
  3. Yes, thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for.
  4. I know that drinks have their own gratuity applied when you order one, and not part of the general onboard gratuities pool. What if you have a beverage package, does the bartender/server still get auto gratuities added to the drink?
  5. That would be great. I appreciate your response.
  6. I don't know about that. However, the only thing I do know about GC was the rooms were small and only had twin beds in them. I do know they are brothers. We did 4 Vantage trips, the last one was our delayed 2020 tulip cruise in 2022. The first 3 trips were fantastic experiences. The last one was just OK but still good.
  7. I don't have first hand experience, yet (just got the AARP added to my account and no new cruises booked yet), but I can understand not being able to get AARP & educator or military discounts together since those perks are all from HAL. But combining AARP and a TA discount isn't coming out of the same pocket and should be allowable.
  8. We are past Vantage cruisers (and loved all 4 we took). We're (obviously) going to have to find a new cruise line for our river cruising. Are there any past Vantage cruisers who've done other lines who can give me a little comparison as to which cruise line(s) are similar in procedures/itineraries?
  9. Don't know. Possibly because Chip is (apparently) a boy in the original movie.
  10. I'd suggest doing a Google search for "Disney Dream Navigators" you'll get a hit for a site that might have that information. Typically, theme nights are pretty standard onboard Disney ships, regardless of itinerary.
  11. That's one reason I've got a water resistant watch I wear for everyday.
  12. I don't know the answer, but you can call DCL (or the Concierge people) and ask. They would mostly likely know the answer.
  13. She would need to already be in the theatre before you even approach the interview area. And there's no way to guarantee that you'd be interviewed before it actually happens. If she waits to confirm you're going to be interviewed there's no time to get into the theatre, in a spot where others coming and going won't block her view, in order to record your interview. Yes, it's possible to record the snippets on the closed circuit screen in the theatre, but I wouldn't count on it being easy to get a specific interview.
