Trystan27 Posted February 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Totally gay here.... Looked at the post and realized why you might think otherwise. Married in Canada in 2004 (after being together 14 years) .still not recognized in MN. We adopted our boys in 2002. The planning is all finished for our trip, now we just have to wait...patiently. Will probably use Super shuttle or Cruise line.
Trystan27 Posted February 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2013 We have tickets on sun country airlines, so we are flying into Dallas. We are going to drive to Houston to spend some time with a friend before the trip. We booked excursions that will hopefully entertain the children Cozumel - Mr Sanchos Roatan- Bananarana. Belize - one of the ruins trips through princess.
bdgf Posted February 16, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted February 16, 2013 first two on your list should be good, not sure about the Belize one though, heard was pretty boring, not the same kind of ruins like in Tulum :( We have done bottom reef fishing that was fun. We are doing this one this trip: http://belizecruiseexcursions.com/BelizeBeachSnorkeling.htm
Trystan27 Posted February 16, 2013 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Your belize trip does look good. Last year in Cozumel we did a beach resort that was too boring for the boys. This one should be better with the water trampoline and stuff. We thought about going to Tulum (Carl and I have been there on an earlier trip).. But that is also a long trip and everything is roped off. First time to Belize. We are doing the ruins trip for my 14 year old. He is fascinated by ancient cultures. The trip up the river (and possible wildlife) and getting to climb a structure should be worth the 7 hour day...hopefully. Last year in Roatan we went to the fantasy island resort. Not crowded, calm beach, ok snorkling, kayaks, entertaining monkey that swiped drinks.. Trying the other side of the island this trip. We were one that side of the island in the mid 90s before it was a developed cruise port. Hopefully the snorkeling will be as good as I remember.
