cowprintrabbit Posted February 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Was so excited to find Right Size smoothie powder at my local grocery because I can't do any of the bigger brands with Splenda, etc. I got the vanilla flavor and it's OK, but a little chalky. Yesterday I needed more and was very excited to find chocolate! Tried it today and it was REALLY good; two hours later - heyyy... Went back to the label and it has aspartame - not in the ingredients but way down in the proprietary gum blend. Back to the store with it! After double-checking, the vanilla is not artifically sweetened, so I'll try adding cocoa powder to it. I'm a little concerned about it mixing properly but I think I'm more likely to stick to it if it tastes like something I shouldn't be having  Does anyone know of another brand out there that has a naturally sweeted chocolate shake? I can do agave, fructose, etc. but not sucralose or maltitol. This is not a permanent solution; I've just been sick/injured/stressed a lot lately and would like to drop a few pounds before our next cruise... shootr Posted February 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2012 My wife uses "Slim Body Matrix" from Global Nutrition. It states Aspartame Free, and I don't see any other obvious sweeteners in the ingredients. I use Gold Standard Whey Double Chocolate from GNC/Optimum Nutrition. It doesn't list Aspartame, does list cocoa, but then also says artificially flavored - so I just don't know.
seafood Posted February 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Jay Robb Whey Protein. It comes in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, pina colada, tropical dreamsicle, and unflavored. No sucralose or aspartame added! I use the Egg White Vanilla and there are 120 calories per 1 scoop and 4 grams carbs. Ingredients listed on the vanilla are egg albumin, xylitol, natural flavor, xanthan gum, lecithin, and stevia. It's delicious! pnut362 Posted October 10, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 10, 2012 I have been using Chocolate Shakeology for over 2 years. Absolutely NO artificial anything in it - full of vitamins/minerals/superfoods/etc.. I haven't found anything that compares to it.

carla63 Posted October 13, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2012 I mention UNJURY because it was originally meant for cancer patients. Bariatric patience started using it. Very helpful website/customer service, with lots of good recipes to make with the protein powders. They use whey protein isloates instead of whey protein concentrate. They have a chicken noodle flavor with no sugar, also the unflavored contains no sugar. The price is right around $20 a container. I also use NOW sports whey protein isolate unflavored mixed into my green smoothies..mmmmm! price is decent from Swanson's Vitamins.
nurseingu Posted October 13, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 13, 2012 Body by Vi is also good. No artificial sweetners. But it doesn't come in chocolate. Would have to use the flavor packets and they do have the artificial sweeteners. Sent from my ADR6400L using Xparent Purple Tapatalk
tommy2tone_1999 Posted October 16, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I'm with pnut on Shakeology. I like the Vegan Chocolate formula, and I am far from being vegan.
