Wennfred Posted September 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Does anyone know the policy for taking alcohol on board when you are setting sail? Yes you can, you are limited to 1 or 2 bottles of wine. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Liquor_and_Beverage_Consumption_Policy.aspx Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, wine enthusiasts may bring fine wine or champagne on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the dining room or a $14 corkage fee per bottle in the Supper Club. Guests may bring a small quantity of nonalcoholic beverages. All liquor, excessive quantities of wine and nonalcoholic beverages, to be determined at the discretion of security and/or embarkation personnel, will be confiscated and discarded without compensation. Guests may purchase a variety of beverages on board the ship. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the ship’s gift shops or in ports of call will be retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage.
Cotton Posted September 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Hi again. I replied to your post on the other board.:) One or two bottles of wine or champagne per passenger - at embarkation only. Soft drinks ok. No liquor or beer.

mjohns2 Posted August 24, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Just to make it clear, I'm a little slow, it's one bottle per person that is 21 or over sailing. If we don't take it to dinner, there is no charge right?
geckog Posted August 24, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Wow, this is a really old thread, but to answer your question: You may bring one bottle per person over 21, it must be in your carry on, and you are only charged corkage fees for consuming in the dining room or supper club.
