jimb98 Posted May 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Hello all, Off on our 11 night Easterm Med cruise on Equinox on Monday and, although I know we have 2 formal nights, how many smart and casual nights will we have? I know this should be available on the Celebrity website but it freezes up on every attempt. Cheers, Jim

jimb98 Posted May 18, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted May 18, 2012 My apologies, I thought there were 3 dress codes: Formal i.e tux or suit Smart Casual i.e. shirt, jacket, tie Casual: i.e. polo shirt, trousers I assumed it would be something like 2/2/7 Any advice? rwr235 Posted May 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2012 As LOP stated....just the 2 dress codes for dinners: Examples of "Smart Casual & Above" attire include: Ladies: Skirt or pants (no holes, rips or tears) complemented by sweater or blouse. Gentlemen: Pants (no holes, rips or tears) with sports shirt or sweater. Shirts must have sleeves. Examples of "Formal" attire include: Ladies: Cocktail dress, gown, or dressy pantsuit. Gentlemen: Tuxedo, suit, or dinner jacket with slacks. Above from the Celebrity site. Enjoy Woody

Hi Jim That was how it used to be a couple of years ago, but X changed their policy to only two - formal, or Smart Casual.
jimb98 Posted May 18, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Thanks guys, I must have read an old thread. Not much time now so I must go and mend all the tears in my wife's dresses. I really shouldn't have gone crazy with the scissors the last time she came home late.

You made me laugh...... sad state of affairs when we have to designate no torn clothes etc. What happened to personal pride? I know it is in style but common sense would dictate time and place IMHO.

Tiggertastic Posted May 19, 2012 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2012 I'm so glad they changed the code because the limit on flights from the UK for baggage is ridiculous to the med - 1 bag 50lb - my husband couldn't have done a tux and a suit or he'd have lost 50% of the allowance

Just checking Thanks
