Manhattan Traffic on Sunday morning?

We will arrive at Pen station @ 7:00 am on Sunday 6/14 and like to do some sightseeing but the tour buses wont allow us on with our luggage .

So we where thinking of renting a car for a few hours and drive around .

My question is how bad is the traffic in Manhattan on a Sunday morning and what about parking

Luggage storage at Penn Station provided you have either an Amtrak ticket or NJ transit ticket.

Also luggage storage at a private facility close to Penn Station-Schwartz Travel Services

Forget the rental car. Traffic won't be bad but you will spend a fortune for the car and parking. Each parking lot can be $15-25 for just a couple hours. Plus $75-100 for car rental.

I so agree with this.

You will not be able to see anything because you'll be too busy paying attention to the road.

You can also stop by one of the bigger hotels and check your luggage with a doorman for a nice tip.

Thanks so much for the tip we will be doing that for sure .

Not to mention that June is street fair season so you can end up stuck in MAJOR traffic.
