Secrets Resort-St James or Wild Orchid?

What is the difference between the 2?

I am so confused about which resort to go to ?

Hilton Rose Hall or one of the Secrets resorts?

Anyone have experiences with both?

I haven't seen any recent reviews of the Secrets resorts.

I think Secrets resorts are close to the cruise ship pier?

Anyone remember the cost of a taxi to the resort?

Thank you for your help.

The resorts are "one" They are on the same property, just different buildings. You can use any beach area you want, other than both have a small private area for their upscale wings.

One side is called Wild Orchid and the other St.James.

They are very nice there.

Thank you for your reply.

I did book the Secrets resort thru shore excursioneer.

It looks so beautiful in the pictures.

May I ask what you thought of your visit to the resort? Any recent details would be appreciated!

I just returned from a week stay at Secrets St. James. BOOK IT. You are getting a steal even at $100 per day there. It is so close to the Montego Bay port I could see the Carnival smoke stacks from my corner room at the resort. I'm actually slightly bitter you can get in that cheap as we paid $350 to $500 per night to stay there. But now I'm here trolling for a good day pass out of Falmouth next year.

We spent 4 nights there for Christmas last year. I don't think we would go back and stay as our room was the worst. However, the staff by the pool were attentive and kept the beverages flowing and they were entertaining as well. Pools were not heated but were okay once you got in and adjusted. The beaches we saw were small and there wasn't much of an area to walk in the water. We also had a very hard time finding chairs at the pool or on the beach as they are taken by towels early in the morning. But the drinks flowed. Did I mention that?

For $100 for a day, it's a steel! Be sure to get some of the jerk chicken while there. My husband loved it!!! (I'm allergic to pepper and couldn't have it!):(

Riley's Mom, how did your day pass from Shore Excursioneer work out? We're looking to book the pass but are concerned the resort will not honor it.

Thank you!

I would like to know this as well. Very interested in obtaining a day pass for Secrets.

Thanks!
