Harbor Beach Inn Ft. Lauderdale

We have the night before our Princess cruise booked at the Harbor Beach Inn. Just wondering if anybody has ever stayed there before. We will be getting in early afternoon the day before and will be looking for some place to eat and get some pop before leaving for the Royal the next day.

I have no idea about the hotel but it is a VERY upscale residential neighborhood. Your neighbors will be Scotty Pippen and other rich celebs.

I was able to get the room for $150 a night. All I know is that it is a fairly small place on11th and Seabreeze Blvd. Does anybody know if there's a shuttle/bus or anything within walking distance?

We stayed there a few years ago. Older retro motel with gated entrance, clean, reasonably quiet. Not a lot in the area, good walk to restaurant/deli near Bahia Mar marina, (food was takeout style for breakfast and lunch type food) no shopping. A couple of the bigger hotels have food as well in the area.

Opposite direction back to port area has more options but again quite a walk (longer) with more shopping and food options.

Do a google earth search and check out the satellite views. Beach is close, almost across the street.

We actually rented a car from the airport, toured around dropped car near port. Overall cost was same as using taxis.

I believe on the weekend in Fort Lauderdale there is a complimentary Sun Trolley along the beach area. Not sure where the stops are, maybe google search for info.
