Ideas for afternoon

Hi, I will be docked at Tortola on 9/7 via the NCL Escape from 7AM to 3PM.

We have a 10AM excursion for a Dolphin swim (booked privately) that lasts an hour. I am assuming we will be able to leave there around 11:30. I have a couple of questions.

1) How hard will it be to get a taxi from Dolphin Discovery at that time?

2) I am looking for ideas for the remaining time we are in port.

My first idea is to take a taxi out to Cane Garden Bay and have lunch at Myetts then return to the ship. Maybe with a stop at Pusser's if there is time.

What does everyone think of this plan or are there other ideas?

Thanks!

Can't help with the taxi question although I would expect no problems there.

You could taxi to CGB and Myett's is a great spot for lunch. If you left at 11:30 you'd have about 1.5 hrs to enjoy lunch on the beach if you wanted to be back near the port by 2, plenty of taxis at CGB for your return.

If you want a beach and lunch a closer option is Nanny Cay which is 10 minutes west of DD. There is a beach there, and you can have lunch at Peglegs, The Beach Bar, or the Genaker Cafe. Taxi from Nanny Cay back to Road Town will be $8/pp for 2 or $6/pp for 3 or more, not sure of the price to NC from DD. Taxi from DD to CGB will be a little more but just $8/pp from CGB back to the port.

So a couple options depending on how much time you have.
