Airport Hotel or Port Canaveral Hotel for Group

Hello everyone!

I have a group of about 13 people going on a cruise from Port Canaveral in January.

I am trying to see if it makes the most sense to stay at an airport hotel and take a shuttle (Cortrans or Cocoa Beach) or stay at a hotel in Port Canaveral.

I doubt everyone will be arriving on the same flight so I thought staying at the airport hotel would make the most sense so that we could all ride to the port the next day together and coordinate for the flights back to be around the same time.

Does anyone have any feedback on the best thing to do for a large group?

We prefer to stay in Orlando and make our way to PC the morning of the cruise. Lots of hotels near MCO with free shuttles and nearby dining options that would work for your group; having everyone together would make it easier to arrange for a pick up in the morning.

Since arrivals will be at different times, I agree with John, probably easier to stay at an airport hotel and meet up in the morning.
