musicman85 Posted July 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2015 I'm not sure what we are doing in the Bahamas yet, but every excursion in the Caribbean I usually wear sneakers. I was wondering what experience people have wearing flip flops or some kind of sandals? We usually do some kind of sightseeing tour where we sit on a bus and get on and off at different stops. I'm also kind of thinking about wearing a small backpack and carrying around flip flops/sandals for when I need to switch out of the sneakers. Just wondering what everyone else usually does. Thanks! oilsand Posted July 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Without knowing your plans , Many tourists just use sandals all the time. ( not flip flops) Both places and especially nassau the sidewalks and walkways tend to be uneven and sometimes rough. I would consider running shoes for freeport and nassau
