Dolphins!

I saw a video on youtube of someone swimming with at least 8 dolphins in the ocean and the description said it was while snorkeling at Buck Island. Has anyone ever seen a dolphin or had the opportunity to swim with one near Buck Island? ... just curious

I've seen them from the boat but never got to swim with them, and never that many at once, usually 2-3 dolphins. they definitely do swim in those waters though so you may get lucky.

It's far more likely you'll get to swim with eagle rays than dolphins but just as much fun.

Awesome! Thank you for the reply. We are still trying to decide on what to do in St. Croix since we will be there twice on a back to back, and Buck Island snorkeling is on the list of possibilities. I saw that video and wondered how likely it would be to see dolphins in the area. Glad to hear we might get lucky and spot one if we decide to go! :)
