There is a shuttle bus at £5 per person each way. It's a very good idea but you need to book. We thought we would walk into the town and then decided to take the shuttle. It was booked up until early afternoon so we walked. It looks very close until you get off the ship and have to walk for 15 minutes in the opposite direction of the town to the port exit and then it's about 20 minutes back towards the town. Not far if you like walking but the day we were there it was extremely hot. There are taxis waiting at the port gate and charge 8 euros into town. Once in the town we did a lot of walking, it's a pleasant promenade and there is a market at the far end. There's also a lovely beach which is worth visiting. Enjoy your time in Larnaca.
