Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port?

I have enough SPG points for a free room here and like that it has a free airport pickup ... We will be flying in to FLL around 10:30pm and just need a place to sleep and shower before cruising out the next day. Has anyone stayed here and can tell me if there is anywhere close (walking distance) to get some sodas to bring on our cruise? TIA
