Helicopter Tour

Interested in taking an island tour via helicopter...does anyone have any recent experience with helicopter companies based on Grand Cayman? The ship has a designated helicopter excursion but with only a 15-20min flight time. Thanks!

It's not a huge island...15-20 mins would about cover it!

There is only one helicopter tour company, Cayman Islands Helicopters. They offer a few different packages on their website.

The 15 minute tour is enough to make a loop around the west side of the island and the cruise ships. To cover the whole island takes much longer.

Unfortunately, we couldn't port in Grand Cayman due to weather, so no helicopter tour for me :(

We did the helicopter tour and had a great time. We would do it again if we go back to Grand Cayman.

Note that they were one hour different from our ship time. Check the time schedule with them before you leave for your cruise.
