We have never gotten anything for free - ever! We are sailing NCL for the first time and while checking our itinerary yesterday, we noticed that they have included Adult Drink Package with no added cost. What does this mean? Our kids have been given free drink packages too. Someone explain please!

You say it is absolutely free, but normally there is an added service (gratuity) charge added to you account.

Don't know if you drink much alcohol, but the normal drink costs on a 7-day cruise would far outweigh the service charge.

As to the kids, assuming they are underage, theirs would be a soft drink package.

If you do drink, it is still a very good "free" with fee package. Any drink under $15 is included in your package. beer, wine, mixed drinks ect, almost all of them are under $15. If you do drink in a US port, they do still charge you tax.
