Aquarium - Genoa

Has anybody been to the aquarium in Genoa and bought tickets on the day rather than online?

Thought it would be best to leave it until the day incase of any unforeseen changes to cruise schedule etc but a bit concerned, do they sell out for each time slot, large queues etc?

Will be there on a Sunday in July, any advice would be greatly received.. Thanks.

Don't know about July. Was there last September on a day trip from Milan. Came upon aquarium while exploring city. Virtually no line , bought tickets and were inside in less than 5 minutes. Nice break
