Dining and Entertainment Question

Recommended Posts

We are taking our first cruise aboard the American Queen and have been assigned the Main Seating time which we just found out is 8:00 p.m. Does anyone know if having a dinner time at 8 will conflict the entertainment in the Grand Salon?

Thank you in advance to all who reply.

We have been on 3-4 American Cruises and our experience has been that the main Saloon Shows are repeated for each dinner seating. There might be an occasion when a non headliner type act might be doing something while your at dinner but I never felt as though we missed out because of the dinner schedule. They are pretty good and making sure you see and experience everything there is to see.

Relax and enjoy your time, we've come to really enjoy this form of cruising

We just got off the boat (not ship they kept telling us) with late sitting without any problems. The show for late sitting is at 6:15, usually lasting about 45 to 50 minutes.

I hope you enjoy the trip - we LOVED it. :)
