Medano vs. Chileno Beach in Cabo?

Cruise Critic's home page just listed Chileno Beach as one of the best 5 beaches in Mexico.

I would like to hear comments and suggestions about which beach to go to in Cabo.

I was all set to visit Medano and Tabasco's Restaurant and Bar for a relaxing afternoon on the beach.

Tabasco was destroyed in the hurricane, but will suposedly rebuilt by my January cruise.

Medano(Main) beach is developed while Chileno Beach north of town is not. Chileno has great snorkeling and is a good spot for some calm and sun.

We did the 2 day in Cabo cruise and went to both beaches. We rented a car and went to Chileno and it was ok. We stopped at a local store and stocked up on drinks and snacks, I brought a beach blanket from home and we had a nice time. There were a lot more people than I thought there would be. We went to Mendono beach the next day and hung out at Tabasco's. We preferred Tabasco's, beach chairs, good food, less crowded and we were able to rent a jet ski.
