Transportation in Barcelona

Hi! I will be traveling with 4 ladies. So, there will be 5 of us and a lot of luggage. I'm guessing we're better off reserving transport from the airport to the hotel. Can anyone recommend a company for me to contact?

We've used a taxi to get from the airport to a hotel near Playa Catalunya. The cost was around 35 Euros, however I epect they will charge a bit more for 5 passengers.

The taxis can be a sedan, SUV type or even van.

They will ask you how many folks and how many bags when you get to the taxi area. Either get two regular taxis or a large van should work.

The whole thing is very organzed and easy.

My husband and I will be cruising in July on the Vista, leaving out of Barcelona. We will be arriving a couple of days early to enjoy the sites in Barcelona as its our first time there. Previously, on the recommendation of a cruise critic experience, we had a car meet us at airport in Rome and drive us to hotel... it was painless. I read about the taxi and wondered if that would be a better option... any recommendations?
