Brenda33 Posted August 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2008 I just booked this room (4230) for DH and I for a June cruise on the Miracle. Anyone stayed in this room? How is it? I have never stayed anywhere except an inside. Thanks for any input.
Prairie_Gal Posted September 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2008 We have the cabin right next door (4232) in November, so I can let you know after that.:)

NCTribeFan Posted September 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2008 Well, I just booked 5297. Not sailing for a long time, but I wanted to lock in the current price, and really wanted one of the aft cabins, since our itinerary has 4 sea days. Please take lots of pics and post them when you return!
Ykgorbie Posted November 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Can you tell me what you thought of #4232 ? We are booked in that cabin for Jan 8th/09 ! Any pics? Can you open the divider ? (friends booked in next cabin) Also, could you fit a long lounge chair out on the deck ?
Prairie_Gal Posted November 28, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2008 Well, we are back and loved 4232 on the Miracle. You can view my comments and pictures of the cabin on this thread from the main Carnival board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=17144502&highlight=#post17144502 YKgorbie, It looked as though the balcony divider could be opened, and no, there isn't really room for a lounge chair. It comes with two chairs and a small side table.
NCTribeFan Posted November 28, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 28, 2008 Excellent pics. Thanks for the link. I'd posted in that thread earlier. Only about 6 more months and then Brenda can post a dozen pics of 4230! :D
DAH&WMS Posted May 28, 2009 #8 Share Posted May 28, 2009 We have booked Aft cabins 4232 and 4230 for the Sept 09 sailing from NYC. I have heard that aft cabins sometimes experience smoke from the smokestack. Anyone experience this?
NCTribeFan Posted May 29, 2009 #9 Share Posted May 29, 2009 I moved from 5297 to 4230, so I'm anxiously awaiting the photos from Brenda. There was a thread on the Carnival board about the Spirit-class aft cabins. I would have to search for it, as it's been a while ago. That was the thread that convinced me to change locations. I don't recall much talk about soot on Main deck, maybe the higher ones.
Insel Posted May 30, 2009 #10 Share Posted May 30, 2009 We just had a aft cabin on the Miracle a few weeks ago. After trying to decide which deck to choose, our TA said there was no difference in the cabin itself for a regular aft...just the aft-wraps. After this location, I highly doubt we will ever choose another cabin and have the same deck booked for next year. We never had any soot or trash on our balcony. Just salt on the railing one day.
