sammyboots Posted March 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Just trying to figure out plans for our upcoming 7 nights on PG and as a first timer wondered, what is the latest embarkation time? We plan to stay in Moorea at the Hilton pre cruise and would like to spend a reasonable amount of the afternoon (ferry crossing times taken into consideration) there before heading to Tahiti to board to PG. Can't see any information on our booking although I'm sure we will be informed nearer the time. I've heard the life boat drill is held during the afternoon so assuming we will need to be checked in by mid afternoon? Anyone able to help with this? Thank you. :)
cruisefun27 Posted March 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2015 The earliest you can get on is 3:00pm but I can't remember what the latest you need to check in is. Maybe someone else can help us.
RZ3 Posted March 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Ferry's don't run very late and you don't want to chance taking the last one in case there are issues. We also stayed on Moorea Pre-crusie and took the 3pm Aremiti ferry back to Pappeete. It was just before 4 when we got to the Gauguin after collecting our bags. Check in is swift and painless. The short walk from the ferry terminal was harder. Enjoy your cruise! :)
twin123185 Posted March 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2015 I boarded after 5 this last trip and just made it to the lifeboat drill. The have the drill privately the next day for people who board late
