Coffee on Mariner of the Seas

Hi. I'm a bit of a coffee lover (maybe even a coffee snob??!!).

Is it worth pre purchasing the unlimited "premium coffee" or is it no better than the normal coffee on the ship?

Is it all just automatic machine made with. Oz milk? Or do they actually have proper machines and proper milk?

Thanks for any comments. I'm already feeling the coffee withdrawals!!

Premium coffee means espresso, basically. They have baristas making your espresso drinks. And they have different milks.

In freedom when people ask for brewed coffee I've heard the baristas tell the person to go to the free coffee. If they insist then the barista just makes an americano.

Not sure what sort of caffeine delivery system you love but the above is my experience.

As for the package you got, as far as I know they have the coffee card or a package that includes other drinks, not just espresso, so remember to include those things when figuring out the package value for you.

Las time we were on the mariner we weren’t fans of the premium coffee, we tried half strength cappuccinos to make it more palatable. I had a hard time in Singapore too. We figured out on the last day that we should have been asking for lattes. The premium is still better than the free stuff, and I need caffeine!!
