I am assuming that this is the one in Dania. If so, it is nowhere near the beach nor the water taxi stop and basically is an airport/Interstate location (I have not stayed there but have across the street at Springhill Suites).

Most of the restaurants in the area are fast food, with one or two "regular" dining nearby. Shopping is Kmart, BJs and Home Depot.
