Hi there, is anyone sailing on the Astor out of Fremantle on the 35 day round Australia cruise?

Sorry, not doing the 35 day round Australia cruise, but looking at their short 3 night cruise at the end of March 2014 (as an anniversary surprise for the husband!)..

has anyone sailed with Astor before? Are they worth trying?

Hi there,

as yet have not met anyone who has sailed on her, report from agent, who booked others that sailed on outward voyage, was that those that did it enjoyed the experience none indicated that they would not sail aboard her again.

The only slightly negative comment was that the bathrooms were a bit small. We will be comparing it against Princess whom we have used a number of times.

Yes, Waverley was at the North Pier. Funnily enough, last time I saw Astor, it was from Waverley, in Oban.

I did a cruise a couple of years ago on Waverley,lovely old ship.:)
