Getting from Port to Hobby Airport , Houston

Going on my second cruise the first one was when the daughters were 7 & 9. Now they are 18 & 20. My question we get in at 8am on 1/3/15 our flight out of Hobby is 11:15am. Is this doable? have you been there? how long to get through customs? can I carry my own bags off for quicker disembarking? Any Advise?

That's cutting it really close. The airport is about 30 minutes away. The boat has to clear customs before they start debarkation. The cruises into that port are often delayed due to fog. If I were you, I would book a later flight.

From everything I have read, you are gambling on the time. Seems to be regular fog in the port in the winter months. I would try for something after 1:00pm if you can. Better sit in the airport for an extra few hours than to be wait listed on the next flight.
