Baths by land or by sea?

I have an all day port layover coming with NCL, and I'm going to go along with everyone and go to the baths. NCL offers two tours; one by sea (you have to swim 50/100 yds to shore) and one by land where you walk down. Any pros/cons from folks who have been there?

If you have a long port day you would be much better off going on your own, very easy and you can avoid the bigger crowds at the Baths. Just read the several threads just below this one ohn this subject and you'll learn a lot quickly!
