Cigarette smoke

Hi. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke and we have booked the Breakaway and I am now reading how smoky the entire ship is! Is this really true - those who have sailed Breakaway? And I thought all cruise lines did away with smoking on balcony. Does Norwegian still allow that? Thank you.

As of Nov 1, 2014 NCL does not allow smoking on balconies,

I'm not allergic to smoke but if I was I would definitely book a different vacation than Breakaway. The entire ship is smokey.

NCL's updated smoking policy only allows for indoor smoking in casino and in the cigar bar for those ships that have it. If you are sensitive to smoke than you either have to avoid the casino on Breakaway or choose another line with a more restricive smoking policy. May I suggest Celebrity ? Their smoking policy is the most restrictive. No indoor smoking anywhere on the ship including the casino. For those who think the casino would suffer if NCL eliminated smoking the casino was packed every night on my Celebrity cruise last Summer.
