Day Trip from Paris to Mont Saint Michele

Has anyone booked a day trip excursion from Paris to Mont St.Michele with a company that would pick them up at Hotel and return to Hotel in Paris City Center?

I know it would be a long day and looking for a tour that others have used for this destination that they would recommend.

Thoughts or recommendations appreciated

You do realize that it is a 4 hour drive (without traffic) each way? It will be more than a long day. This is best done over a couple of days and you can add some other interesting stops, such as Giverny, Rouen or the Normandy landing sites. It is also likely to be expensive (which, of course, is relative). Are you comfortable driving in France?

We are DIY in France, but, if I recall, our neighbors used Best of France Tours in Paris (not to go to Mt St-Mich), and were pleased with them.

Thanks, we have decided to table this idea and hopefully we will get there in the future when we have more time to spend as you suggested. Too long a drive for a single day excursion.

Disappointed but good excuse to get back to France.
