Paradise Beach

Can we just take a taxi to Paradise Beach and rent chairs? Do we have to buy a package with Atlantis to do this? If so, is there another decent beach to go to?

I think you mean Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island? There is a public access point to Cabbage Beach next to the RIU hotel, which is next to Atlantis. You can rent chairs there and there are some vendors selling drinks. No bathroom facilities though. Taxi is $4 a person.

You can't rent chairs on the beach directly in front of Atlantis.
