We are a family of 4 adults and a 7 year old, going on a Disney Cruise. Our flight home is not until the evening. I know it takes an hour to get from the Port to MCO. Is there anywhere interesting we could stop for a few hours in Cocoa Beach and what would you do with the luggage?

There is a lot to do around Brevard County and Orlando. If you rent a one-way car then your luggage is taken care of!

Does Disney offer post-cruise trips? If so then they will drop you at the airport and handle your luggage.

This Guide to Things to Do Near Port Canaveral list most of the interesting things.
