Yotel Gatwick, are we nuts?

Recommended Posts

We're seriously considering staying at the new Yotel in the Gatwick airport. Has anyone done this yet? All we need is a place to sleep before a morning flight. We would book the larger, premium room and understand it will still be on the small side, but since we just need it to sleep and relax in, and the cost is way less than other nearby hotels.....any thoughts?

Nothing wrong with the Yotel if you only need a couple hours to lie your head down and get a shower without unpacking.

If its more than a couple hours then the Premier Inn, a nice 'proper' hotel within walking distance of the North Terminal has day rooms for 60 GBP and overnight rates not much more.
