cruise planner down?

we have two reservations within 90 days and neither can book dining or entertainment on cruise planner. we booked a cruise on allure 4/6 then decided we might have to get back a day sooner so we reserved a second cruise on oasis 4/5. we held both for a couple days to make sure we could get dining and entertainment on oasis but it has now been 5 days that we cannot make any reservations online on either cruise. we have called daily and been told that the system is having problems. it just says that we need to try onboard the ship in the cruise planner. i was able to call one day and book entertainment over the phone but dining could not book because of this Dynamic dining mess.

 

it seems strange to me that i dont see anyone else talking about this on cc so i wondered if it is just us that is having this problem.

I'm getting "Sorry, we cannot reserve this right now" when I try to use the Cruise Planner.

 

Im getting the same message. I came here to see if it was just me. Im glad (sort of) its not. I hope they fix it soon.

Just tried myself & got this:

 

Your cruise vacation is packed with possibility but your specific search filters did not return any results.

 

We know there's something perfect for you so try adjusting your choices.

 

Hopefully will be up & running again soon.

I was able to book entertainment yesterday afternoon but as of this morning it can't find anything. Most activities except the flowrider lessons have also disappeared.

 

But for me anyway, dining has never been available to book. (I'm 56 days out) I took that to be related to the Oasis reservations being switched back from DD to traditional. Has anyone else been able to book specialty dining for Oasis trips coming up soon?

It seems like every single time I have called RCCL the past few months , I get the same response from the operators.

Our system is down, IT is performing maintenance , call back in 24 or 48 hours.

Every operator is always pleasant , in fact I had a very nice conversation with one young man , originally from Costa Rica ,

while we waited for 15 minutes to see if the system would come back up.

It did.

It just seems odd that IT is always working on the system. I call usually around this time when I get the same answer.

I wonder if it's an excuse or a legitimate , ongoing and serious problem with their system.
