Dolphins then beach?

We are planning on the dolphin excursion in Tortola as early as we can get there. In port 7:45 to 5:45. Since I know the dolphin encounter won't take all day, trying to find a good beach for after.

Can anyone recommend a good beach closest to the Dolphin place? Have a big group from ages 5 -75 with some non swimmers so would prefer really calm. And food and bathrooms required too.

Nanny Cay is 4.5km to the west from Dolphin Discovery and has what you are looking for. The surf from the north has been up the past couple weeks and CGB was affected, but was relatively calm at NC. That weather should be heading out now...

Cane Garden Bay is where most folks go because there are several beach bars/restaurants there, that is on the north shore and about 10 km.

Nanny Cay is not a primary beach destination for day visitors, CGB and Brewers Bay are. But there are facilities at NC as well as a beach and marinas...
