I'll be cruising to the Bahamas in April 2012 with NCL and I was wondering if it's necessary to purchase waterproof pouches/bags when going to the beach? Are there lockers on the beach to store my personal belongings?

For small items, such as your sign & sail card, driver's license, etc. you may want to get something like this: Beach Safe

You can also get one similar to this in your ship's gift shop, or on Amazon. We typically pack a beach bag in our luggage for beach towels, sun block, etc. Some beaches have lockers available, some do not. If you're booking a beach excursion through NCL, check the details of the excursion and see if lockers are available for your excursion. If you know for sure which beach you're going to, post your questions about it on the NCL board, to get more helpful information.
