Rockley/Accra Beach

Just an FYI...We were in Barbados on 7/16/15 and planned a DIY excursion to this beach. From what I read on Cruise Critic and Trip Advisor, I was really looking forward to it. When we got to the cruise terminal and told the taxi driver our destination, he informed us that he took a group to Rockley/Accra beach the day prior and there was a lot of seaweed on the beach. He suggested not going there and we heeded his recommendation. The seaweed may be cleaned up by the time you visit, but you might also want to have a backup plan.

The east and south coast beaches have had on and off issues from the winter when we were there. You never know from one day to the next...west coast has been crystal clear. This has been an issue all over.
