belize carnival shark / ray excursions/ water taxi also

Carnival has 2 different shark ray excursions, 1 says Shark, Rays, Barrier Reef Snorkel & Island Escape and the other says Shark, Rays & Island Getaway

In the description, 1 says snorkel and other not although the reviews say both tours were snorkeling .... i snorkel, wife doesn't, wondering also if you just take the water taxi to caye caulker would be an option and if someone can tell us about the water taxis, ( pre book or can you get them at port), we have swam with rays a few times, but mainly we want to just go to caye caulker ...
