Pansy178 Posted January 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2015 We are going on the Thomson Dream Cuban Fusion/Pride of Panama and have read all sorts of confusing info about the need for YF and malaria tablets. Apparently we won't be allowed back in to Jamaica without YF certificate. Have seen the practice nurse who has also given confusing info. Has anyone been and can anyone help please?

We had YF jabs as we didn't want issues with immigration in Jamaica and have the certificates if they are needed. Not having malaria tablets though. Taking plenty of deet spray instead. wales4ever Posted January 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Make an appointment with the nurse at your local GP - they will have the correct information for you. Don't risk your health by asking strangers on here. Like gillhalfpint said above, everyone here will give you different info. Just go to your GP for the info you need. geomagot Posted January 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2015 well...we have just come back via jamaica, on the immigration issue? we were not asked for any immunisation status, we were not asked where we had come from, where we were going, or where we had been on vaccinations for health, everyone will be given different advice based on their age/state of health/conditions etc etc

China doll52 Posted January 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2015 We've also just got back and were not asked about here we'd been or any injections. They only asked if you had been on cruise only or cruise and stay. As cruise only you don't have to pay the exit fee. Didn't take malaria tablets but did use a deer spray on the Panama trip.
