Best western Newark

Has anyone ever used the stay and cruise package through the Newark best western? It includes transportation to and from the cruise terminal and then parking is 8 dollars a day.

We'll be there for a 12 night southern Caribbean in February 2017.

I have noticed some comments that it's not a great area to leave a car? Can anyone elaborate on what kind of area they have for parking ?

Approx how long does it take to get to the cruise port with the shuttle?

Newark is a highly industrialized area. The Best Western is on the West side in an area bordered by US 1&9 and the northeast corridor rail lines.

I'm on the same cruise as you and am doing a park/sleep/cruise at the Ramada through Trinityreservations.com for $219 tax included for a room on 2/6, parking for up to 21 days, and round trip port transportation.

On a Tuesday morning I'm expecting it to take 30-60 minutes to get to the port depending on the traffic.
