Saw this event listed on the Eclipse daily by another poster. Is it like Keno where you have to match all numbers and what is the cost and are there subsiduary prizes in this lotto game? If someone has the rules or info please explain. Thanks.

I am guessing it is similar to Royal Caribbean. Their lotto tickets are $2.00 per ticket for one line of numbers (5 numbers per line). If you match 3 numbers, you win $100, if you match 4 numbers I believe it's $2000, and 5 numbers is the jackpot. This lotto is drawn at 11 pm each night in the casino and you must check your tickets prior to the end of the cruise as once you are off the ship, the tickets are no longer valid.

This is a fleetwide lotto. I can only explain how it is on Royal as it's the first cruise for me on Celebrity coming up. I am sure if Celebrity is different, someone will tell us.

It's like playing the lottery in the US. You're given a random set of numbers on a ticket, and they do a drawing. On Equinox this past Feb the amount was about $180,000. Chances of winning are VERY small, similar to winning a regular lottery. The game is fleet wide, not just one ship.
