I am essentially making this blanket post to several different port of call threads.

We are looking to book a cruise that will stop at this port. We will be traveling with our daughter who will be 21 months old. We are wondering what there is to do at this port that is close to the cruise terminal? We are against a long taxi ride to a place because we don’t want to risk a bad accident in a foreign country with our little one. So we want to stay close.

What is there to do other than maybe shopping? Any good sites to see close to the port. Any beaches that are walking distance or very short drive? And just any insight from someone who has been to this port with a little one would be great!

There is nothing really to do close to the port terminal. This is not a big cruise or tourist destination. It is basically a city with a port. Don't expect St Martin, the Bahamas, or anything like that. Don't expect people to speak English, don't expect them to take US dollars. I did a ship tour to explore the island.
