TAMPA precruising Hotels

Need help will be leaving out of tampa early Dec. and wanted to compare prices. I will like to know of any Hotel precrusing packages with airport shuttle & Port. or any rental companies that have a free shuttle to the Tampa port.

We have stayed twice at the Holiday Inn Rocky Point. They have a good cruise pkg that includes airport shuttle, room, breakfast and a round trip shuttle to/from the port to airport or back to the hotel.

Next door to the Holiday Inn is the Hampton Rocky Point and Chase Suites Rocky Point. They also have a very similar cruise pkg with the round trip shuttle. The Rocky Point area overlooks the Bay so an extra perk is an upscale area with a nice view. This area is about a 15 min shuttle ride to the port.

There are many, many really good cruise hotels in Tampa, it just depends on what you are looking for in a pre-cruise stay.

There is a Hertz location about two LONG blocks from the Tampa port - located inside the Channelside Marriott. Good luck! :)
