Pacific Pearl - Moreton Island

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has cruised to Moreton Island before?

I would like a few questions answered if anyone can help me:

1: Where abouts do we land when we tender from the ship?

2: Can you snorkle the wrecks without having to do a ship tour?

3: Is there anyone you can recommend for tours on the island?

4: (never been on any p&o) What is the buffet like and opening times?

5: Is there good entertainment on the boat?

I have so many more questions. I am travelling with myself and 5 friends who have never cruised at all. I've only travelled twice with Royal Caribbean. I would just love some info as I can't seem to find too much.

Can you snorkel the wrecks without having to do a ship tour?

Yes, just a short walk along the beach to the site, altho take care as current can be strong there

What is the buffet like and opening times?

Buffet opens 6amish till 11am and then again from 11.30am thru to about 9pm. Food ok.

dont they close the buffet at 3pm and opens again at 5.30pm or has that changed

Def closed after lunch on our cruises. Seemed to stay open till around 3pm on port days , then reopened for dinner on my last two cruises . Pearl 2013 , jewel 2014
