"Shore-Side Concierge" called me.. confused..

Had a voice mail from Shore-Side Concierge.

His message said something to the effect of:

We see you are going to be a Platinum member on your upcoming cruise on the Enchantment in March. I am calling to see if you need any help with dinner reservations or shore excursions.

But, I am confused.. we are only Gold (Turn Platinum on the Enchantment), and we have only a Junior Suite booked.

Why would I be getting this call? I'm going to use them given the opportunity, but I'm confused about our eligibility.

Morning Todd,

I didn't get a call for that cruise...yet?

I think the term concierge is different than how it is used on the ships. Pretty sure that it is someone just doing up sells and trying to get you to fork over more cash.

So, I called.. and you're right.

I mentioned that the use of the word "Concierge" was confusing (to me, anyways). I suppose it's just confusing to people like me who know what Concierge can mean, but are not experienced enough to know that it's really a misnomer.
