Museum - worth cab fare?

So, I've read a lot of posts about the museum and how the shopping is much better there as it is local arts and crafts. My question is, is it worth 30.00 cab fare to get there and back?

We're doing a snorkel excursion so, we will only have about 2 hours for shopping before we have to head back to the ship. Thanks!

If you only have 2 hours, assuming the excursion gets back in time, 15-20 minutes will be taken up by the taxi ride. So you're probably better off shopping at the cruise port, although there may be some unique crafts downtown.

Yes, there are three of us. I figured it would probably be best to just shop at the port. Thanks so much for your response!
